To Do Links

This is an actual picture of one of our guests climbing in the Uintah Mountains.

The Kamas Ranger District  is located nearby; 50 E. Center St. Kamas, Utah 84036.  Call 435 783-4338 during office hours for more information.  You can try an internet search for information by entering key word “mirror lake scenic byway” for entrance fees and more information. This site changes a lot but has lots of good information about climbing, hiking, fishing, wilderness areas etc.

Woodland is our hamlet and we have one fantastic restaurant called “The Biscuit Company”!  Located 4 doors to the East of the Woodland Farmhouse Inn, within a short walk, it offers a breakfast and lunch menu. Check out their website for their unconventional  hours: http://woodlandbiscuit.com

Kamas is our nearest town. http://www.kamascity.net Checkout the “Fiesta Days “ link for the Rodeo and Demolition Derby schedule for the weekend of July 24th, a Utah Pioneer Day Celebration complete with hometown parades and  soooo much fun for the whole family!

Dining in Kamas is excellent! Here are a few of my very favorites:

The Gateway Grille

The Mirror Lake Diner

Summit Inn Pizza and Ice Cream

The Notch Pub

Hi-Mountain Café

The State Road Tavern http://stateroadtavern.com . Located at the DeJoria Center.

The DeJoria Center located just North of Kamas is a beautiful new event venue. Check out their website for the music artist’s performances dates and times: http://dejoriacenter.com .

Oakley is located 5 miles to the North of Kamas http://www.oakleycity.com/oakley-rodeo.htm and they have a fantastic Fourth of July Celebration!  Use this link to purchase your rodeo tickets in advance. Try the Road Island Diner,  for a step-back in time.
