The Woodland Farmhouse Inn sits on nearly 4 acres of high altitude, river-bottom land. There are 3 houses on the property:
#1. The Old Farmhouse Inn a 120 year old house, built to be Woodland’s Post Office/Postmaster’s Home in 1897. This Historical Main Inn houses the main kitchen, winter breakfast dining room, summer breakfast porch and the North/West wrap-around porch seen in the picture above. “The Loft Suite” and “The Old Post Office Suite” are located in this house. “The Garden Cottage” is slightly attached to the Main Inn but it is a unit on it’s own and has a private entrance.
#2. The South House is located down a 250 foot gravel lane to the rear of the property. The Innkeeper lives in a private apartment that is over the garage. Her daughter and husband live in the main house. The Sandhill Crane Suite is located on the east end of this house. Our guests enter through a private door and park to the left of the garage. The view from this suite overlooks horse pasture on the East. The South backyard streamlet area, used as a Summer wedding venue always includes the Sandhill Crane Honeymoon Suite rental in the wedding so you can be confident that when you book this suite you won’t be sharing the backyard with a lot of people.
#3. The Cowgirl/Bunkhouse Ol’ Storefront is located next door to the Inn on the East side. These two units have separate entrances, private bathrooms, family rooms, kitchens and even separate heating and cooling systems.
