FAQs

Family-friendly Woodland Farmhouse Inn offers roomy accommodations for adults traveling with babies and children under age 3. Our Garden Cottage or Bunkhouse offers wonderful accommodations for families.


While we generally accept pets, we do ask that you contact us in advance to be sure that we can provide the necessary arrangement for your animal friend (s). We offer pet-friendly spaces in the Garden Cottage, the Bunkhouse, or the Cowgirl. There is a $15 cash per pet/day charge.

Just give us a call or fill out our online form, and we’ll handle the rest!

Check in is between 4-10 pm, though other arrangements can be made if needed. Guests check in using the telephone located on the West side porch.

Breakfast is usually served between 8-10 AM, but we are flexible if you need different accommodations.

Located in a high Uintah Mountain Valley near the Upper Provo River, in the beautifully diverse State of Utah, the Woodland Farmhouse Inn A Country Inn offers a peaceful, friendly, hometown setting to travelers from all over the world. The Salt Lake City Airport is within an hour of us. Travelers will pass by the world-class amenities of Park City Utah on your way here from Salt Lake City, but our Country Inn offers you a world apart from big city stresses in our little mountain valley farming outpost.


In the summer months, a drive up the Mirror Lake Scenic By-Way to 11,000' altitude is a must-see! Most of our Country Inn guests come for rest and relaxation before beginning their outdoor exploration of the mountains for a great Stay-cation. In addition to our Country Inn accommodations, nearby adventures include backpacking, hiking, biking, climbing, bird watching, fishing, and snow sports of all kinds. Suites

Post Office Suite

$129-$149

Established in 1897 this suite has two beautifully appointed bedrooms offering one King sized bed and one queen sized bed. The King Bedroom was originally the location of the Woodland Utah Post Office. Private shower bathroom is ADA compliant has a stackable Washer/Dryer available for the guest's convenience. We have carefully preserved the flavor of the woodwork and the creaky wooden floors. It is easy for you to take a step-back-in-time.

The Garden Cottage

$139-$159

This is a fun, cozy unit, featuring a small, but efficient, galley kitchen and a shower bathroom.
In the Summertime, we have many guests (couples and families) who use this unit for 2-4 guests. Therefore, we keep both rooms as bedrooms.
One bedroom has a queen-sized bed, HDMI TV, desk and closet. The other bedroom has a King-sized bed, an armoire with a small TV inside it, and two chairs. This room also has a sliding door that opens to the shady backyard, where there are lawn chairs and tables available to eat or relax. On the rare rainy day, our guests will generally use the enclosed back porch eat and to stay out of the weather.
Please call Sheri if you would like to stay in this room in the Winter. We often change the King bedroom into a sitting area with a fold-out Queen softa bed.

Loft Suite

$139-$159

The Loft has a beautifully appointed King Master bedroom with extra seating and queen futon/sofa in the parlor. Spacious private bathroom has the home's original claw foot soaking tub (think lots of bubbles) and a double shower. You will find generous amounts of fluffy towels and extra large robes.
This dormer style suite is the only unit upstairs in the historical Inn. Private and quiet, this unit does not have another bedroom below it making it ideal for honeymooners or romantic getaways. In room Smart TV/DVD player/selection of DVD's, Free WIFI/ Shampoo/conditioner/ hair dryer. An electric fireplace provides extra warmth in the winter/ air conditioning cools the rooms down in the summer days but summer nights are usually in the 50's and occasionally the low 60's so you may let the fresh air into your bedroom. Windows open for fresh, clean mountain air in the other seasons.

Cowgirl Apartment

This small apartment has everything a Cowgirl or Cowboy-at-heart needs to enjoy some country time with their partner. You can get lost in the luxurious King bed. The two of you may come over to the Inn for breakfast, that is, if you ever decide to come up for air.

Bunkhouse

$169-$209

Originally called The Bunkhouse, this unit has been used for families and small gatherings of friends for years now.
It is dog friendly, 2 max, and has a fenced enclosure for your house-trained pet(s). $15 per day charge.
Big Kids and Little Kids alike enjoy being near to the grassy animal pasture featuring goats, (Bella, Dusty and Penny), 100lb. "mini"-pig,( Flower), and Turkey, (Steve) and a bunch of chickens. The summer duck pond is also nearby. It has a covered porch, propane BBQ, small campfire site and sturdy picnic table for 8-10.
The parking is generous if you need to park bigger vehicles and trucks.
Often used in conjunction with the Bed and Breakfast suites.
The Ranch Hand Bunk is a versatile and inexpensive way to extend your family summer vacation in the Uintah Mountains.
There is a 2-night minimum stay. Please note that if you have stayed here in the past, there have been some changes made in the winter of 2023-24 with the removal of two single bunkbeds which were replace by a private bedroom queen-sized bed. If you stayed here before, please read the new description carefully.
